Imagine having close friends who can cook a great meal, have a great selection of wine and whisky and other drinks, and have a fun conversation. That’s Piggy’s. The owners are generous and fun people and their selection of beef is second to none. Jealous of the locals who get to frequent this restaurant. Will be our first stop the next time we’re in Busan.

Not only is the food top notch, but the environment is very culturally mixed and is both a pleasant reminder of home (USA) with a strong Korean vibe. Very friendly, welcoming, and comfortable. I recommend coming in the evening, having a bottle of wine(or a shot or two of whiskey( and enjoying the evening vibes! Definitely a place I will return to when I come back. 👍

This place was fantastic. Piggy and his wife Lin were the best hosts ever. We came in for an American food diversion and found prime steaks and huge quesadillas and salads. I own two fine dining restaurants in the US and was totally blown away with the quality of the food and wine as well as the hospitality. Piggy cooks for You behind the bar area in this small place. His wife is the sweet server. We met the locals and it was an all around fun time. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

American style steakhouse run by a husband/wife team. Piggy does the cooking and does it well. While there are tables, it was a treat to sit at the bar and watch Piggy prepare your meal to order. A variety of cuts and weights of prime beef, lamb, and veal make up the mains with a nice assortment of starters including my choice of an excellent large garden salad tossed in a perfect vinaigrette with feta cheese. I also had a prime ribeye that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly rare as requested. I couldn’t have asked for more! The steak is served with condiments including homemade chimichurri, horseradish, blue cheese, and sour cream. Mashed potatoes accompanied the meat, also cooked as they’re ordered and couldn’t have been better! There is an extensive wine list with selections from around the world and my choice made me very happy. Cocktails are available as well. Piggy enjoys what he’s doing and adds the finishing touch to a fine evening. I would choose to go elsewhere if you’re in a hurry, made to order takes time and is part of the show. I’m really glad I spent the evening there!

Piggy Bistro is by far the best steak house located on Haeundae Beach. Chef Brentton offers a great selection of meats ranging from T-Bones, Ribeyes, L-Bones, etc. The appetizers such as Greek salads and shrimp cocktails will get your party started. The sides served range from creamy mash potatoes, saffron rice and cream spinach. The wine selection is excellent and my favorite was a Malbec from Argentina. Oh, and don’t forget to ask for some blue cheese as a topping for your steaks. The combination is heaven. Great place to eat whether going solo, with a group or on a date. Chef Brentton and staff will take care of you. Easy to get to and parking available.

Excellent ambience and a beautifully decorated restaurant. The steak was sublime and actually available with mashed potatoes, which were also excellent, as was the wine. The owner had a great sense of humour and joked with us throughout the meal. If I am ever back in Busan I will definitely return!

Great steaks. The chef took really good care of us. I started with soup and piggy ribs as an appetizer. Main course was a 650gram ribeye seared to perfection along with a huge helping of mashed potatoes on the side. Great selection of spirits. Knob Creek was the best.

God damn this place. Everything is fantastic. The vibe is so chill and cool. Staff lovely. Chef is so so friendly. Wine list is impressive. And the food. Oh man the food! Steaks are perfectly cooked and well sourced. Mash is buttery, vegetables sweet and rice aromatic. The gambas rival those of Spain easily as does the paella. For real. Sides for the steak are inventive and perfect. Price for the quality is amazing. Lovely balcony too. Toilets very clean and modern. Highly highly recommend. Go here. Or regret it.

An absolute banger of a steak dinner. From the owner's humour to the attentive service it was a first class experience. The steak was superb, and perfectly cooked. The sides were all spot on. The mash was delicious, and the grilled vegetables were cooked to charred perfection. All of the accompanying flavours worked so well, and they had some fantastic wines available. We had the bread and butter pilot noir, which was great. The gambas were sweet and succulent and were probably my all time best prawns. I wish I lived closer to this absolute gem of an eatery.

The service was incredible. We got a chance to sit at the bar and chat with the owner a bit while he prepared our meal. The meal itself was great. Such tender meat and cooked medium rare. You also get a few items like blue cheese and chimichurri on the side for your steak. We got mashed potatoes and rice in the side. It comes with veggies and ordered a shrimp appetizer. We enjoyed a cigar in the patio after and the owner came over and chatted with us for a bit after the kitchen closed. It was such a cool experience.
